About Alana

I'm a very energetic, positive, and adventurous person! I've been nannying and tutoring for the past 5 years, working with a variety of families and kids through both private practice and different childcare companies. Working with kids is just such a joy. I feel that kids are the most important part of any society because they are the future. The kiddos I've worked with have helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability. This not only helps me, but allows me to be as supportive as possible for them as they grow and develop! One thing you should know about me is I will always encourage children to be curious. Curiosity is something I feel is a rarity in an age that is primarily online. I love to spend time with my kiddos off screens exploring subjects that intrigue them. If something interests a kid I work with, I make sure to explore it with them! I love to learn new things and I feel that it's important we encourage kids to love learning as well.
