About Lauren

I am a former D1 Heptathlete at Georgetown University where I was a full time student athlete, with a pre-medicine concentration. I have 6 years of private tutoring experience. My students range from the ages of 5 years old to graduate school. I tutor the following subjects: phonics, all elementary and middle school subjects, high school biology, chemistry, AP chemistry, College level inorganic chemistry as well as organic chemistry. I have 1 year of experience tutoring for a private company, I have also tutored middle school math and science for a homeschool child. Each of my sessions are tailored by the students goals, needs and understanding. By individualizing the sessions I am able to gain the students trust which allows them to open up about their struggles or misunderstandings. I have had much success, my biggest spotlight is helping one student go from failing to an A in organic chemistry!
