About Laurel

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, fun-loving, and creative. It is fulfilling to provide personalized care and make a difference in people's lives, wherever they are on their journey. I enjoy work that gives me a sense of purpose, utilizing my skills, experience, and sense of humor! I am solution oriented and see my role as assisting AND empowering to help clients maintain as much independence as possible. I started my caregiving journey when my parents and in-laws needed help. I've learned so much in the past 8 years and have gained valuable experience. In my spare time, I like to sing, dance, do yoga, hike/walk, watch movies, and spend time with friends and family. One thing to know about me is that I have a deep sense of integrity and strive for it in all of my interactions and relationships. My skills include companionship, meal prep, organization, housekeeping, mobility assistance, health management, and home modification. I am CPR certified.
