About Rachel

My experience in elderly care is extensive with family. I assisted with my grandmother for 11 years in errands, over nights, companionship and rides. This was a wonderful experience to be a part of and I was there to the end. My Father- in-law moved in with us due to severe long term illnesses. He lived with us a year and I was his primary caregiver. This involved navigating Medicaid, EBT, Doctors appointments, Diabetes, Dialysis as well as companionship and rides. He is now at a home. By nature I have always wanted children and elderly to have a voice. What I appreciate about working with elderly is their stories, wisdom and history. Every person older than me, from a young age, has helped me become a better person and has been a blessing to have in my life. Recently I had a baby and my career doesn't suit motherhood. I would like my daughter to understand compassion and respect for others. As well as having fulfillment all around in others lives.
