About Laurel

Hello! My name is Laurel and here's a little bit about me and my experience with math tutoring. First of all, I graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I am currently teaching Algebra I and Geometry at Palmyra High School. Before that, I was a Basic Skills Interventionist for a year. In that position, I specialized in helping students in grades 6th-12th with their basic math skills. Throughout college I was a math instructor at Mathnasiums in Princeton, Pennington, and Medford, where I tutored K-12+ students. In high school, I was in the volunteer peer tutoring program for about 2 years. There, I tutored Algebra, Geometry and Algebra II.
