About Laura

Hi.... My own mother lived to be 96 wonderful years old. I lost her in 2016 and miss her greatly. For 20+ years, we spent Saturdays together... she was blind and immobile for the last several years of her life. After helping with little things such as her clothes, plants, etc., most of our time was spent talking and reminiscing and laughing about all sorts of things. We visited friends of hers, too, and I enjoyed their companionship so much! I also work part time at a retirement community... I love seniors!:) If your loved one lives more independently, I can help with many other things such as grocery shopping/errands, laundry, tidying and organizing around home, preparing a few simple dishes to have on hand and shopping for things they need. I enjoy their wisdom and stories immensely, and respect their need to remain independent while moving a little more slowly through life.
