About LAURA

For the past 10 years, I've been helping students unlock their full potential. I hold a graduate degree and am a certified teacher. My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I assess individual learning styles through active listening and adapt my teaching with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests and celebrating successes. Communication is essential; I provide regular updates to students and parents to create a collaborative environment. I can help with English, Test Preparation, and History at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring.
