About Laura

Hello! I'm Lolly-your fun and fabulous caregiver for both children and seniors. As the oldest of four siblings, I've always had a natural knack for nurturing and looking out for others. As a substitute teacher, I'm comfortable adapting to new situations daily and managing and engaging groups of 30+ kids, ensuring each child feels seen, valued, and excited to learn. I thrive on building connections and creating a positive, fun atmosphere where kids can grow and express themselves. Before teaching, I put my history degree on the shelf & got to work in sustainable transportation and bicycle advocacy across the U. S. Outside of work, I proudly hold the title of "weird aunt" to my two nephews, and I absolutely love spending time with them-whether it's creating imaginative activities or limiting screen time with fun, creative projects.
