About Laura

Greetings families! I am an experienced childcare provider of 12 years looking for part time work. Most of my childcare career has been spent nannying, but I have also worked as a preschool teacher. I have 16 Early Childhood Education units, a BA in Creative Arts from San Jose State University, am CPR certified, and have a safe and reliable car. My primary experience has been with infants through 4-year-olds, but I have also nannied for a 7-year-old, worked with after school elementary programs, and have a wonderful step daughter who I've lived with since she was 8. I currently am unable to lift so am not able to take on infant/toddler care, but am otherwise mobile and healthy. When I'm not working in childcare, I work as an artist and love walking in nature and spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy volunteering.
