About Laura

I'm a caring, dependable, and trustworthy caregiver and educator with 10 years of teaching experience, including five years in primary education and five years teaching high school. Before teaching, I worked as a nanny and tutor! My goal is to help families feel confident knowing their loved ones are safe, cared for, and in good hands. I believe caregiving should be engaging and fulfilling, not just supervision. I love taking children to parks, exploring nature, playing, creating, and turning everyday experiences into opportunities for learning and discovery. I'm energetic, adaptable, and passionate about helping children feel confident and curious. I also enjoy tutoring and tailoring my approach to each child's individual needs and learning style. I'm fluent in Spanish and have an intermediate level of French. I live in Pasadena with my husband and two cats. In my spare time, I enjoy organic gardening, painting, hiking, exploring nature, and continually learning new things.
