With nine years of experience as a certified teacher, I hold a graduate degree and am passionate about helping students unlock their full potential. I believe in personalized support, building confidence, and fostering a love for learning. I adapt my teaching through active listening, varied strategies, and regular check-ins. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and encouraging curiosity. Communication is key; I provide regular updates to build trust and reinforce learning at home. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing those "aha!" moments and the growth in a student's confidence. I can tutor Math, English, Science, Test Preparation, Art, Study Skills, and History for Elementary, Middle School, and Adult learners. I am CPR certified and First Aid trained.
