About Ted

Empowering students to achieve their full potential is the cornerstone of my teaching practice. With over 25 years of experience, I specialize in Math, Science, and Special Education, holding a graduate degree and K-12 special education certification. I am also trained in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). My approach focuses on building confidence and critical thinking through personalized strategies, such as visual aids and hands-on activities. I break complex concepts into manageable steps, celebrating every small success along the way. I believe that open communication with families is vital to creating a supportive, collaborative environment. Whether we meet online or in person, I am dedicated to fostering a genuine love for learning. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work, and I truly look forward to helping you reach your goals.
