I call myself an old nurse because when I started my life of nursing, I was a Candy Striper, but this started my journey 46 yrs ago. I was taught in nursing school that nurses are there for the patient. Total patient care. From start to finish, 24/7, 365 days per year. This is how I see nursing. I'll always strive to show my client and their family and my patients and their families, that they can trust me to care for their loved one. I have 46 yrs of nursing exp., from NICU-Geriatrics.
