I was a lead/supervisior over a group home for 2 years out of the 13 1/2 years in the field I also worked at a day program 3 of those years In my lead position I trained new hires. I had to go over documentation. fill order forms for the house. filing out transportation paper work. Make sure all forms are filled out at the end of each month. Request forms if anything needed fix at the house. Assisted with monthlies. Talk with the staff to make sure the check list are getting done in the home. Talk with the home manager about what needs to improve in the home. Cover shifts if needed. Make sure all staff have completed relias training online by each due date. Assist with meal plans. Setting doctors appointments. My dsp position we assisted with or providing personal care. Overseeing or administering medication. Advocating for and monitoring physical and mental health needs. Supporting individuals with the completion of daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
