I have been working as a private home care aide for 15 years. I have worked in a variety of environments for example, I have worked as a traveling certified home health aide and a direct care aid in the community homes for the mentally and physically disabled and private home care. I have experience working with a variety of needs: stroke that has caused limited mobility, ALS and MS, dementia, cancer and Parkinson. I have worked with adaptive equipment ie: hoyers, wheelchairs (manual and motorized) depending on the needs of the client in each of the varying settings. I have taken some college courses for nursing and respiratory care.

Laura was my mother's primary caregiver until she passed. Laura was a Godsend. She was always punctual, happy, loving, and willing to work whenever i needed her. She never called in sick. She has received nursing training and provided nurse-level care for my mom. She is incredibly organized, and my mom's space was never more organized. My mom loved when Laura arrived because she was always so positive and gentle. I would rehire her in a minute. Whoever gets Laura is lucky.
