About Laura

My name is Laura. I am a caregiver with 19 years of experience in public and private care settings. In my care career I've worked as a nanny, a home school helper, a substitute teacher, a preschool teacher's aide, and a church childcare provider. My responsibilities have included: entertaining and monitoring my charges, to feeding and diapering my charges, to assisting in potty training, to meal prep, to transporting my charges, to extensive homework help, to preparing and delivering homeschool lessons, to light housekeeping and errand running, etc. I look to work for respectful, friendly, communicative, involved families who have a practical plan for discipline as well as a desire for their children to enjoy life and childhood. I love to become part of the family-each child that I care for becomes part of my story. :) I am also looking for a family who can work with me to provide tax assistance as a W2 household employee.
