About Laura

My name is Laura. I am a 39-year-old caregiver with 19 years of experience in public and private care settings. In my care career I've worked as a nanny, a home school helper, a substitute teacher, a preschool teacher's aide, and a church childcare provider. My responsibilities have ranged from entertaining and monitoring my charges, to bathing/toileting/diapering my charges, to meal prep, to transporting my charges, to extensive homework help, to preparing and delivering homeschool lessons, etc. I look to work for respectful, friendly, communicative, involved families who have a practical plan for discipline as well as a desire for their children to enjoy life and childhood. I love to become part of the family-each child that I care for becomes part of my story. :) I am also looking for a family who can work with me to provide tax assistance as a W2 household employee.
