About Laura

I was a nurses aide before I had children. Then I waitressed for many years , I've always enjoyed interacting with people. The last 5 years I have spent taking care of my elderly parents. My mom had Alzheimer's which progressed over time. I spent a lot of time helping her with medications, doctor appointments, meal prep, among other needs. My Dad had 4 strokes over the years. The last one unfortunately he developed Dementia and after 2 years could no longer walk. Sadly he was put in a nursing home. I went to the nursing home three times a week and advocated for him. I am now working Part time for Visiting Angels. My passion has always been caring for people. Making them smile and feel safe. Nothing like brightening someone's day !
