I graduated from Necco, taking the Certified Medical Assistant Program with honors. I worked 10 years in Rheumatology, 12 years in Dermatology, I have done private care for elderly in years past. The last 2 years I took care of my mom who had Alzheimer's, I had her come to my house to live us, which was one of the most rewarding things I ever did. I took away her fear and told her she would be with me till the end, which is what happen. Going through this and talking to many people I feel there is a need for the elderly to have home care as long as they can. It makes the person feel so much better to be able to stay home and cost less. I feel taking care of a family member for someone would give them some peace of mind, and would be rewarding to me.
