I have taught children with Autism and Special Needs to swim as a swim instructor. I currently volunteer at the Shea Center (horse therapy for children and adults with disabilities). I have been there since November and completed 30 lessons as a sidewalker. The sidewalker assists the instructor with the lesson and ensures rider safety. I have also been a Nanny to a child with special needs who was non verbal.
