About Laura

For the past couple of years, I have been teaching part-time, allowing me the joy of caring for a child from when she was 10 months until she went to preschool full-time. My background includes raising 4 children of my own- now ages 18-25, a college degree in special education and certifications in First Aid and CPR Training. I taught K4 for three years and 3rd grade for 10. As a teacher, I love playing educational games, alongside outdoor sports, board games, and puzzles. However, I would prefer not to be at the the house all day! I would love to help with carpooling, running errands, taking them on hikes and outings, and swimming supervision. I'm patient, kind, and bubbly, and willing to have open communication with parents through their preferred method. I prefer 1-2 children and look forward to meeting and caring for your little one(s)!
