About Laura

Hi there! I would love to provide dependable care for your family. To me, caretaking means not only meeting physical needs, but also a genuine connection. I am naturally organized and conscientious, and aim to bring compassion into all that I do. Clear communication and boundaries are key. I hope for us to create an open environment to express needs, ask questions, and to get to know each other! I have childcare experience with a variety of ages. Back in PA, I frequently babysat younger neighbors. I also have experience tutoring and worked at a day camp this summer. A little about me: I'm originally from Philadelphia, but spent much of my youth living in the Seattle area. I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2023, then moved back to the PNW. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in French. I like to stay active with walks, yoga, and rock-climbing. When the weather gets gloomy, I stay cozy by reading, playing guitar, and cooking nourishing meals.
