About Laura

I am a school teacher with 2 children of my own (16 & 18 years) and am looking to downshift from 60+ hour weeks to spend the last couple years with them, before they leave home. I have all the regular certifications (1st aide, CPR, AED, medical delegation). I am reliable, consistent, kind, and love kids. I have been a teacher for over 10 years. Pre-school (4ish years) , elementary (3 years), middle school (6 years). I am competent, caring, and will always put kids 1st. I have a reliable 8 seater SUV, current driver's license, and passport. I have been happily married for 23 years. I have a 5yr old lab, and a formerly feral cat of indeterminate age. I am good with lite housekeeping/tidying, including related laundry, meal prep and cooking. My daughter's friends say I am a good cook (high praise).
