About Laura

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I specialize in English, Computer Science, and Special Education for elementary through high school students. My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your unique learning style by utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions. When tackling complex concepts, I break problems into manageable steps to build steady momentum. I believe that open communication with you and your family is essential for achieving the best outcomes. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I hold a college degree and maintain current CPR training and First Aid certification. I look forward to helping you discover your own path to success.
