Hi family, I'm Ms. Shay, and I bring a unique blend of expertise in child psychology and business to my childcare approach. With over 20 years of experience working with children, including roles in equine therapy and as a special education teacher assistant. Being one of 10 siblings, I have a natural ability to connect with kids of all ages, from preschoolers to preteens. I hold 2 college degree's with coursework in Early Child Development and have more than three years of hands-on experience caring for children, often focusing on one child at a time. I prioritize communication with parents, providing verbal updates during pick-up and maintaining regular contact through texts or calls. Additionally, I'm a BLS instructor (First Aid and CPR) and I offer swimming supervision, carpooling, and travel assistance. My experience also includes working with special needs children.
