I enjoy working with my seasoned elders and their conversations are just the best. I've assisted client(s) with shopping, appointments, pharmacy pick-ups, medication reminders, and staying socially active or just companionship. I love working with people in general because no matter how young or how seasoned you are, you never know when you might need a helping hand. Although I have a Criminal Justice background my Mom became my top priority when she was diagnosed with Dementia. I brought her to live with me and cared for her because in my heart no one could take care of her better than me. It would get hard at times but that was fine because she's my Mom, she's all worth it, and you only get one , so until God called her home I was there to do my very best to care for her and give her what she needed. I feel like I would be perfect for whomever I have the pleasure and opportunity to work with. It's a great feeling to know that you've had an impact on someone's life for the better.
