About Lashanda

Hi! My name is Shanda, and I'm a married stay-at-home mom offering in-home childcare for one to two children. I have a 15yr old daughter and a 10-month-old son, and I provide a calm, safe, and nurturing environment with routine and age-appropriate care. I began working with children in 2009 as a lead infant teacher in a daycare, helping transition infants into the 1yr old class while in college pursuing my dental career. Since having my youngest, I've chosen to stop working outside the home and now offer loving care to other families while continuing to care for my own children. I'm gentle, responsible, and trustworthy, and very intentional when caring for another family's child because I understand the trust it takes to leave your child with someone. I'm currently pursuing appropriate childcare certification and home safety requirements, including a home inspection, to meet state guidelines and I'm open to discussing monitored video access in the care area during care hours.
