About Lashanda

Hi! My name is Shanda, and I'm a married stay-at-home mom offering in-home childcare for one to two children. I can also assist with transportation. I have a 15yr old daughter and a 10-month-old son, and I provide a calm, safe, and nurturing environment with routine and care. I began working with children in 2009 as a lead teacher in a daycare, while in college pursuing my dental career. Since having my youngest, I've chosen to stop working outside the home and now offer loving care to other families. I have completed Pediatric CPR and First Aid training through the American Heart Association, as well as Health and safety Prevention training. I have also completed the Family Child Care Home Orientation and required pre-licensing training. I am currently awaiting in-home inspection. While a childcare license is NOT required when caring for children from ONE family, I am actively pursuing licensure. I can also offer monitored video access in care area for added parent peace of mind.
