Larissa is nanny gold. She has been our nanny for over a year and she is absolutely FANTASTIC!! If there were ten stars, I would give her fifteen. She is an unbelievable caregiver—so kind, so warm, so knowledgable, and also able to get kids to cooperate and behave (it amazes me). She respected any rule or request we ever made and she was so reliable—on time to the minute every morning and I don’t think she called in sick a single day in a whole year. She taught our kiddo so much about emotions and behavior and helped him navigate tricky moments like separation anxiety like a professional. She taught ME so much about being a mom, and also she taught our kiddo some Portuguese! She was always on the ground sitting, playing, imagining, reading and building with the kids. She was also just so much fun to have in our home… because she’s a wonderful human through and through. Sweet, intelligent, communicative, loving, funny, responsible, she was (and is) a bright light in our lives. Her English is also amazing—better than mine ;) I could say so many wonderful things about her… I’m truly going to miss not having her around. If our son weren’t starting preschool, I would hoard her as our nanny forever. Hire her—you won’t regret it. She is so so very lovely and the best nanny we could have ever asked for! THANK YOU for everything, Lala! We were so lucky to have you as long as we did!
