About Lara

I'd describe my personality as friendly, comforting, and thoughtful. I like working with kids because they have such a fun and carefree energy that is uplifting to be around. I'm a very caring person so working with kids comes naturally, and I hope to encourage their youthful spirit while providing support and guidance. I started working with kids six years ago as a volunteer for my church. I did childcare for my church nearly every week for the next few years, working with mainly children age 0-6. I also started babysitting for friends and neighbors around the same time, and have years of experience in that as well. In my spare time, I like to do anything creative. My main hobby is sewing, I love to make clothes for myself and others. I also love to cook, bake, paint, and read!
