I have always been pretty in love with children. I started babysitting my baby cousins by the age of 8, so by the age of 10, I was the consistent family babysitter because children love me. I started babysitting other people's children when I was maybe 12. I lived in a complex that had many families all around and since I was young and did a pretty good job at babysitting, they could hire someone who would do an exceptional job babysitting and not ask for much money. I have always had a soft spot for children which is why I am going to school to be a Neonatal Nurse/Pediatric Orthopedic Nurse. I have such a happy personality that I tend to rub it off on the people around me and children love to have that type of energy around them. I am also a very fun person and always willing to sit down and play dollies or monster trucks with the children. Another thing about me is that I am a big advocate for early learning, I like to teach children the basic needs in a fun way.

Markayla is an absolute delight. While we haven't been able to work with her yet due to some scheduling changes, we look forward to when we can. She is an excellent communicator and was quick to respond to messages. She has a lot of truly wonderful and age appropriate ideas for activities and had such a kind way about her. I also greatly appreciate that she is a strong advocate for herself, something important for young children, especially girls, to see.
