About Lara

Hey there! I'm Lara, Brazilian, 29 years old and living in the States for 3 years now. With over 5 years of experience, I've had the opportunity to work with children aged 1. 5 to 14, performing various roles such as teacher, au pair, and babysitter. My journey began as a teaching assistant and then a teacher, where I could help young minds to engage in lessons and creative activities. My role as an au pair immersed me in different cultures, allowing me to adapt and connect with children on a deeper level. And currently, as an occasional babysitter, I am a reliable source of support for families, stepping in to help with homework, reading sessions, driving activities (clean records and experienced driver) and ensuring that the little ones are fed (I can cook too). I'm proud to say that my caregiving journey has been beyond just responsibilities - I also formed meaningful connections with the children I had interacted with. Hopefully we will get to know each other soon!
