About Lara

Nurturing young minds is my greatest passion. I have 20 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers via the foster care system. I hold a bachelors degree in psychology and am comfortable caring for one child or several child at a time. I am patient, creative, friendly, and very comfortable enforcing household rules while also implementing skills I developed through many years of parenting. I am also a children's books author who touches on themes that are challenging to you people such as losing a first tooth, or learning to care for a new pet. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, whether through verbal updates or regular texts. I enjoy arts and crafts, and educational games with children. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I'm eager to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family, creating a safe and fun environment for your child to thrive.
