I have been friends with Emily for 5 years and spent 3 years as her roommate. I also volunteered for Emily as backstage crew last year when she was the children's show director at a Jewish Community Center, so I've seen her interact with kids firsthand. She also has ties to Dayton schools and a Youth Theatre, where she dedicated many hours serving as a director and a positive role model. Emily's biggest dream is to work with kids and to have kids of her own someday, and when she's around them she is fun and enthusiastic, but just as gentle and responsible. She spends a lot of time playing with her new nieces and nephew, who were all in her wedding last summer. Emily is also going back to school to realize her dream of being a teacher. I have seen Emily interact with kids, and there's no doubt in my mind that when I have kids, she'll be at the top of my list of caregivers!
