About Lapresha

Hi, my name is Lapresha, and I am passionate about helping young learners succeed! I originally earned my degree in Criminal Justice, but quickly realized that my true calling was in education. I decided to go back to school to follow my heart, and I am now pursuing my master's degree in Elementary Education (P-3), as well as special education. I am currently student teaching, where I get hands-on experience every day working with children of different abilities, and learning styles. My background gives me a unique perspective, blending strong organizational skills, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact. As a tutor, I am dedicated, encouraging, and creative. I believe every student can achieve their fullest potential with the right support, and I am excited to bring my experience and passion to each tutoring session!
