About Kelly

I am a middle school math teacher with a graduate degree in Mathematics and dual certification in Math and Special Education. Since 2014, I've tutored students of all levels, beginning as a high school Calculus BC tutor and later as a college professor assistant. I specialize in making math accessible, engaging, and personalized to each learner's needs. Currently, I offer tutoring from my home to balance my schedule as a new parent. I'm witty, compassionate, and insightful, creating a relaxed environment where students feel supported and confident. Tutoring lets me connect one-on-one and tailor lessons so students experience rewarding "aha" moments. As a current teacher who has graded state tests aligned with Common Core standards, I bring valuable insight into classroom expectations and assessments. In my free time, I enjoy baking and spending time with my baby and dog. My top skills are conceptual clarity, patience, adaptability, and effective communication.
