Hello! My name is Lanie. I love helping you to nurture your little ones. I have over seven years of career nanny experience. I am a wife, a mother, an avid reader, a habitual baker, and a lover of the outdoors. If I am not in my garden, I am probably playing with my son and two English Springer Spaniels. I own an Etsy shop, safeHVN, where I sell handmade home goods, mostly crocheted or sewn with love. I enjoy sharing these hobbies and my homemade goodies with the families that I work with. Full of life, a natural with children, caring, patient, creative and an absolute joy to be around. Those are some of the ways we describe Lanie to our friends. She is energetic and keeps up with our vibrant and emotional 3 yr old daughter. She keeps her busy with activities from baking, crafting, games, and park outings to name a few. She handles our daughters' varied emotions with grace and an amazing attitude. She uses situations to coach her to improve as a little person. She is punctual and flexible. Caring seems to be second nature for her and she just plain has a fun attitude towards life. And equally important, she communicates with us on successes and opportunities for improvements. It's important to be on the same page and we are always aligned on approaches and will re-strategize together when we need a new approach. We feel very fortunate to have Lanie in our life.
