We had the pleasure of having Lana as our nanny for three years when our daughter (H) was 10 weeks old. Once H started preschool full time, we sadly had to say goodbye to Lana. Being a first time mom I had anxiety about returning to work and leaving behind such a young infant. With Lana, I always felt confident that I was leaving H in the most capable hands. Not only is she trustworthy and responsible, but she has the most warm and loving disposition – exactly what I was looking for in my daughter’s caregiver. We grew so attached to Lana that when we moved out to NJ, we begged her to come with us. Lucky for us, she did, and she lived with us part time for 2.5 years. My daughter LOVED her… she was always so happy when Lana came to get her in the morning, and she gave her the biggest hugs every night before bed. On multiple occasions strangers stopped me to comment on Lana. They recognized H from the park or the library or a “mommy” and me class and they felt compelled to tell me how wonderful Lana was with her. I can confidently say that my daughter is better off for the years she spent with Lana. Anyone would be lucky to have her.
