I cannot say enough amazing things! My daughter is energetic, chatty, intelligent, but also has big emotions and is very attached to me. The first time "Uncle A" cared for her, she immediately took to him over dinner, only to cry big tears once I quietly left. He kept me updated, calmed her down enough to record a video to send to me, and asked me to send one back. They played games, sang songs, and shared pictures all night, to the point where she asked to take photos with him before bed and woke up talking about him. Since we were travelling, I had several of her favourite books but only a small plastic cook set for toys. The second time he watched her, she had just gone through a traumatic few days at a disorganised preschool and was very emotional. He brought over toys and activities and was prepared for her big feelings and redirected her each time so she always wound up laughing with him. When she woke in the morning, she told me that Uncle A told her that when she opened her eyes, he would be gone, but Mommy would be back. She truly bonded with him 🥰
