About Lama

Hi! I'm Lama, and I love helping people learn and grow. I bring lots of patience, friendliness, and strong people skills to tutoring, and I'm deeply invested in helping each student succeed. I'm experienced in breaking down complex ideas into clear, understandable steps, and I'm skilled at working across language barriers to make learning accessible and engaging (Bilingual: Arabic). I take teaching seriously and make it enjoyable by creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions, practicing new skills, and pushing through failure (reframing it to feel like a normal, healthy, and empowering part of the process). Helping others learn is one of my favorite things, and I'm committed to making each session simple, clear, and tailored to the student's needs.
