About Lakken

I have worked with children my entire life, and could not imagine it any differently! I began nannying at age 16, and absolutely fell in love with it. During college, I worked 3 summers in a row as a nanny, and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunities it provided including going to the park, making crafts, outdoor adventures, and of course bonding with the kiddos! I currently work as a speech therapist at an elementary school in Jefferson County, which allows me to continue my passion of working with kids. I'd describe my personality as energetic, bubbly, and kind! I like working with kids because it allows me to dive into my inner child as well! I love having fun and going on little adventures, and when I babysit I find just as much excitement in the day as the kiddos. I'm looking for a job that allows me to create a bond with the kiddos and their family, as well as have fun! In my spare time, I like to hike, read, spend time with my family and friends, and take photos of nature!
