About Lainy

Hello! My name is Lainy, and I'm excited to partner with families as I expand my work into tutoring. I hold a B. A. in Early Childhood Education and have spent my career supporting young learners across a variety of settings. My experience includes teaching ESL online, providing one-on-one in-home ABA therapy for children with Autism, and offering respite care for families of children with special needs-all grounded in a trauma-informed, child-centered approach. I've also served as an Activities Director at a Jellystone Resort, where I designed engaging, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage exploration. Tutoring is a natural extension of my work with children, allowing me to focus more deeply on individualized learning and academic growth as I pursue my dyslexia educator certifications. I look forward to helping children strengthen their skills, feel supported, and discover the joy in learning.
