About Amber

I am an experienced educator with a background in public school teaching, private homeschooling, K-12 test preparation, and general education tutoring. I also work as an afterschool theater and speech instructor, where I combine academics with creativity. I am deeply passionate about education, and I'm committed to helping students realize their dreams! I specialize in literacy skill development and foundational math, but I am comfortable teaching most K-12 subjects, including test preparation for the SAT, ISEE, and ACT. In addition to core academics, I teach Spanish and French. In these subjects, I emphasize strong comprehension and communication skills, along with cultural understanding and appreciation. I also have experience in music theory and instrumentation and provide instruction in various musical instruments. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can gain confidence and achieve academic success.
