About Laina

I don't have tutoring experience, but I worked in elementary childcare during college. My mother is an elementary teacher and several of my closest friends are in education, so I have been around educators my whole life. I also have a sister who is 11 years younger, so I was a de facto tutor for much of my life! Writing has always been my strength and I currently work in communications, so I trust that I'd be qualified to help your student. I also excelled in English in high school and scored perfect scores on my AP Literature and Language exams. I also have maintained multiple creative practices on the side and am confident in my ability to curate art curriculums across age groups and interests. As a very creative person who loves working with young people/students, I am excited to tutor your student!
