About Laila

I'd describe my personality as calm, positive, and supportive. I like tutoring because I enjoy meeting new people of all ages, supporting their unique learning styles, and celebrating their progress and successes. I began tutoring younger students during junior high and high school. Later, I provided one-on-one tutoring to college students through the Learning Resource Center at California College of the Arts. Today, I continue to teach and mentor students and professionals entering the field of design. In my spare time, I like to read, draw, cook, and exercise.
