About Teresa

I'd describe my personality as energetic, positive, warm, and kind. I like tutoring because helping students acquire their own learning tools and become self-motivated is my passion. I'm looking for a job that enables me to do what I loved most as a teacher for 21 years: discover who they are, what they value, and how to communicate both through reading and writing. I started tutoring when I was in high school and college in the 1990s. In my spare time, I like to travel, garden, walk, read, lavish my cats with attention, and write children's stories. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable and caring. My skills include teaching, writing, multi-tasking, and organizing large tasks into smaller parts.
