Hi! I'm Kya, a lifelong animal lover with several years of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. I grew up with two cats who taught me the joy and responsibility of pet companionship from a young age. Over the years, I've regularly cared for my neighbor's dogs, providing walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of love. Since moving to D. C., I've been consistently cat-sitting for friends and neighbors throughout the past year, including short- and long-term stays. Whether it's keeping a shy kitty company while their humans are away or sticking to the daily routine of a high-energy pup, like my roommate's dog who I used to love to run with, I always treat animals like they're my own. Pets need patience, attentiveness, and genuine care. I understand how important it is to know your pet is in good hands, and I pride myself on being dependable, communicative, and warm-hearted.
