About Kristy

I'd describe my personality as creative, empathetic, resourceful. I like working with kids because I enjoy teaching, exploring, and seeing all stages of development. I'm looking for a job that helps folks in their daily lives. I started working with kids when I was a teen. I have run camps, programs, after-school opportunities, and coaching. I have most recently been a youth development educator with U of MN Extension. In my spare time, I watch my children in swimming, football, and theatre. We enjoy traveling, and learning about new places and cultures. One thing you should know about me is I used to be a theatre professional and love all things creative. My skills include youth development and programming, sewing, management, costume design, coaching (speech and debate), communication, and taking care of my family (19, 17, 15).
