About Alison

I have a full-time job so I am only available evenings and weekends. I'd describe my personality as energetic, caring, and responsible. I started working with kids as soon as I was old enough to take the Red Cross Babysitting class. I started babysitting for my parent's co-workers and expanded from there. I eventually became a lifeguard and then started teaching swim lessons and coaching swim team. I have worked with kids of all ages, background and abilities in a variety of settings for almost 15 years. Now I am a Special Education Paraprofessional and get to work with kids all day, I absolutely love it! I am CPR/First Aid trained and a certified PCA. I have lived in Duluth for almost 10 years and love to find new things to do and places to see. In my spare time, I like to explore Duluth and the North Shore with my camera. I like to camp and hike. I love to travel. I frequent many of local coffee shops. I like to cook, read, do arts and crafts and go to movies.
