Hi! Nice to meet you! My name is Kristy and I am 23 years old. I recently graduated with a BA in Legal Studies and a certification in paraprofessional. I graduated from Orange Coast College with an Associate's in Psychology in 2022. My goal is to eventually attend law school to obtain my J. D. In the meantime, I am working as a babysitter and nanny! I have lots of child care experience (that I can provide references for) and prior practice + knowledge in ABA therapy. I am fluent in English and Vietnamese. I am also a huge animal lover and have had extensive experiences caring for cats, dogs, and smaller animals! Families that I have worked with would describe me as calm, patient, trustworthy, and kind. My hobbies include crocheting, pilates, cycling, hiking, cooking, and baking. Ms. D. pleasantly surprised when watching my daughter M. (5ys) and my son E. (7yrs) for the first time. I’ve been a stay at home mom their entire lives, and I was quite frankly TERRIFIED of leaving my kids in someone else’s hands. When I told my friend I was going back to work and about my anxiety over child care, she referred me to Kristy (with whom she also had a positive experience). Upon meeting her I automatically felt comfortable and trusted her. She has a warm demeanor, is very positive/ down to earth, and just has this near supernatural affinity towards kids. She is always punctual, amazing at communicating with me about how the day went and if any issues came up, and she even went as far as to help teach my kids without being asked. Reading, write, basic addition, etc. This was a HUGE relief to me and I am so grateful. Even though I do the same work at home with my kids, with my new schedule I haven’t had as much time to focus on teaching them anymore. I feel confident about leaving my kids in Kristy’s care. There really isn’t anyone else but their dad and maybe their grandparents that I would trust watching them like this. Can’t say enough positive things about Kristy!
