About Alea

Hi! My name is Alea and I am a current teacher candidate at UCSB earning my teaching credential and masters degree in education. While my schedule is quite intensive I am hoping to secure a weekend or nightly nannying position for the school year. I've always been passionate about helping children learn and grow and building connections with families! I've been babysitting and working in childcare settings for over four years now and am CPR and First Aid certified. I would describe myself as patient, caring, and easily adaptable. When it comes to keeping the children safe and following household rules, I do so in a gentle but firm way. I enjoy keeping kids engaged with fun, educational activities like outdoor sports, board games, and creative play. I'm also an animal lover and have a car, so am happy to help with transportation if needed. I'm confident that I can offer a warm, safe, and enriching environment where your child can have fun and feel cared for!
