Over 20 years in the home care business with experience ranging from dementia care to Parkinson's and most everything in between. I am trustworthy, sensitive, reliable, and believe that this work is perhaps the most important that one can engage in. To care for our elder population is more than a job - it has to come from the heart and is built on compassion, trust understanding, patience and kindness. One either has those attributes or they don't. I do best with the 80+ crowd and am able to offer companionship, games and puzzles, light assisted ambulation, cleaning, cooking, personal care (showering, brief changes), medication management, basic pet and plant care, driving to appointments, grocery shopping assist.
